how and why do people have multiple accounts?

i would like to try to make another account but then the alliance interaction and starting from scratch and the council rewards being non existant.

so how and why do people have multiple accounts? some have 5 or 7 of them

There are other reasons for starting another account even though the new council sucks.
You have your experiences to help 'you', you have something to do waiting for the 2 week upgrades, plus your advanced main account can donate awesome troops to your new one.

Too me it just a way to inflate player account when actual number of real players is much smaller. Same way people pay to have fake followers.

I will admit that cutting the free ride to mid info age will hurt the number of actual multi accounts because which account you spend money on the main account or your multi just saying lol Same as fake followers to inflate accounts.

Just because your warning 20vs20 doesn’t mean your playing different players just accounts lol

As an example, there was a Medieval-only community war awhile back (several in a row), so having multiple accounts allows participation. Or say you want to relive the Industrial days, or Gunpowder, or try a different build strategy (e.g., max everything or do extreme rushing or somewhere in-between...) So, lots of different reasons exist. But agreed that the new Council awards damp the excitement/ease of creating new accounts, at least if getting past Industrial is desired. Then again, getting 30000+ crowns was kind of crazy....
