from coldwar age onward you dont get 10 roads until space age and then it stops

personally l would like more roads in the ages where we dont get them so id like 10 roads per age for all ages. giving about 70 additional roads

I think 10 is a bit much after space so maybe 5 is a good compromise.

its just that every age gives 10 roads hence 10 over 5.

its for the citybuilding aesthetic.

what they need to do is introduce more land expansions
