Do Artifact boosts automatically upgrade?

If I have heavy cavalry bonuses from my museum artifacts, will they apply when I upgrade my stables to tank factories?

The switch from the stable to a tank factory is only in the name and the graphics. It's not like it's a new building with different artifact boosts.
