Alliance Chat - Update and Erase (5/2/18)

We are improving the stability of Alliance chat!

As we make these changes, your Alliance chat history will be wiped so that all messages are compatible with our new system. If you are playing while we make this change, some chat features like Friendly Challenges and Troop Donation Requests will appear in your chat only, and will not reach the rest of your Alliance members. Restarting your game will allow you to join the conversation again!

I think there will be nothing new, just more stability / reliability. So everyone in the alliance will see all messages and troop requests without significant delay. The game is hosted on multiple servers, so I can imagine it is quite complex to route all the messages flying through the ether.

Agreed but sure if u polled players chat is least concerning. How about customer support actually showing support not saying same thing in different ways.

TinSoldier I can't request alliance trops.Always say 0/0.

TinSoldier Same in my alliance. A couple people request and it says 0/0 for available troop spaces instead of, for example, 0/27 or 0/30. No one can donate to them. Other people can request normally- its just a couple people so far. They’ve tried restarting their games many times.

Same in my alliance, I can't get any troops as it says always 0/0 since the last 2 or 3 days. This needs to get fixed asap. Not sure why? If all you are doing is erasing the chat.

I opened a lots of tickets, i and 20 peoples change alleance 2 days ago and contine to see the old alleance chat.....

We dont see any that we write in the chat but see all the comment of old members.

Please can you check this problem .

For your info. Our alliance had success with getting around the donation request bug where the request says 0/0. You need to wait till any 0/0 requests have been pushed out of the chat box, get the member to leave and rejoin the alliance. This fixed it for our member who had the problem

Alliance chat is an utter joke right now. Between the bugs around troop requests (god knows how many crowns ive wasted requesting) and now missing chat that seems to sync each night its really ruining the social aspect of the game.

TinSoldier why are Nexon struggling with in game chat? I've played terrible games with cheap UI and graphics however trash chat like Domination's is unheard of. Surely the developers have some pride in their work here? We really need a proper solution and not a band aid fix making things worse.

Chat is a deal breaker and many in our alliance are getting very frustrated by it.

Considering that lesser games have built-in chat functionality such as translators and whisper/individual chat the fact that this game's basic as can be chat can be screwed up so badly by an ''improvement'' is shocking. Though I suppose it shouldn't be, given this company's track record.

Any news when the chat will be fixed? Friendly attacks keep disappearing and several players still can’t get Ally donations.

I write in Italian to be clearer.
The chat in addition to making the challenges disappear has a 4-day history.
Donations sometimes score 0/0. If you move from one alliance to another, you will read the messages of the old alliance but not those of the new covenant.

Dear admin, Please fix this chat error, the game was not awesome anymore if there is no chat history. I cant request troops because my alliance cant see a request, and i can saw a replay if i send a chalenge request. I hope this error can be fix ASAP...
