it might work in mp but certainly not against Defensive bases or in WW. There is no way to kill large mobs of defenders nor generals
I tried a MRL+APC combo and it constantly fails to kill defenders

True, depending on the base layout - but certainly needs planes in the mix to provide protection.

About a year ago we had a season where infantry was boosted. A guy in my alliance ran All APC for speed hits in war. It was kind of all or nothing. If he failed, it was 3 stars at best, and if it worked, it was hella fast.
