Troops not entering through holes in walls

I don’t understand why troops insist on digging a hole in the wall when the bomber, or maybe even other troops, have already blown a gaping hole right next to them. I have seen this occur under many different circumstances. Sometimes when you deploy multiple troops the troops will get together in small groups, or even indivually, and all of them will try to bust through different walls. I have watched single troops stay in the exact same spot, shooting at the exact same wall during the entire attack while the remaining army has already destroyed the entire village. It makes no sense. Clash of Clans fixed this glitch years ago. Why can you all not get this taken care of? Maybe it’s time to go back to clashing. This s a great idea for a game, and I enjoy many aspects of it but this aspect is very frustrating. I will not invest any money in this game until this glitch, and others too, get fixed.
