DPS gives a first comparison between units.
However, damage and rate of fire are also important, which can be seen, for example, by the fact that we change both (currently unknown) values with manufactory/munition or by the fact that BHG changes them:
Paratroopers will fire +25% faster but deal -20% DMG per shot
- These two changes result in no change to the DMG per second of the Paratroopers
For this reason, more detailed statistics have been requested several times. Unfortunately without success so far, perhaps it will be realised this time.
In addition, it would probably also be helpful to see the effects of munition on DPS. Otherwise, for example, [6% Attack Speed + 5% Damage] vs [12% Damage] cannot be compared in advance. We would have to fully upgrade both munition to compare the DPS and only then can we decide against one that we would have to disassemble again.
