Leaderboard - remove the inactive alliances

perhaps it's a larger engineering challenge than has been reasonable thusfar ...
it's so embarassing now that to a first time player the game looks broken or compromised.
they are likely working on it but don't want to give us notice until they have categorized the problem.

You are wrong here, Radzeer. All those teams were populated by real players. It was a family of real teams sharing a corporate name.

Not responding to this is causing many to just give up. If BHG doesn’t have a fix tell us. If the fix involves a game update then tell us. Bottom line, please communicate here.

The fact that this has not been addressed yet is sad.

Top 10 alliances: 5 do not have enough member to war and are inactive
Top 25 alliances: 10 do not have enough members to war and are inactive
Top 50 alliances: 16 do not have enough members to war and are inactive
Top 100 alliance: 28 do not have enough members to war and are inactive

So almost 1/3 of the alliances on the top 100 are not even participating in wars and yet still hold more glory than those that war weekly.

Please, Please do something about this

I know my alliance is far from the top 100 but there are plenty of alliances that are deserving to be recognized in the top 100. Every alliance in the top 100 should be active

TinSoldier. Okay, but please do it soon. It is really demotivating see all those dead alliances which dont do wars. We are down to under 50 alliances which are dead on the top 100 leaderboard.
I know many quit the game or people were banned - but most of the alliances are teams starting one alliance after each other. 6 alliances in top 10 are the same 40 people - it is ridicoulous.
It could be fun to see a real leaderboard with real teams.

So make a leaderboard where you have to do wars at least once a week!

leaderboard needs a redesign so it's meaningful to more than a sacred few ... it's an engineering challenge but all active alliances should be able to find themselves, to be motivating to win.

It’s mind numbing that they still haven’t done anything. There are so many ways they can fix that. Just on top of my head: code the game so that any alliance that doesn’t start a war for 7 days after last war ended gets dropped from the leaderboard, glory isn’t affected and they get ranked again when they start a war, boom problem solved... that’s not a proposal just something I came up with just now, but you get the gist of it.

The team wanted to handle some of the rebalance first, instead of upsetting the Leaderboard and then changing it again when making balance changes. The team is planning improvements for the Leaderboard in the future.

There are a lot of players and alliances who want to be the best and the leaderboard should be their measure. If it is effed up, those players and alliances do not have as much motivation to win wars, and spend less on troop tactics. It probably wouldn't generate a meaningful amount of money, but some.
