Leaderboard - remove the inactive alliances

Just my 2 cents:

The only two things which really demotivate us players are
1) loosing to cheat hacker alliances in wars and
2) loosing silly amount of glory to top alliances which leave their original alliance on the top of leaderboard because they want to take bigger amount of glory from other alliances.

What is demotivating for you might be demotivating for the others.
Now when we are having at least one cheater alliance in the top 20 and NEXON is doing nothing to roll back or sanction them it might be demotivating for the top alliances to loose silly amount of glory to them.
Now when the fundamentals of the game are changing and everyone needs to adapt and many top players are retiring as a result of that it might be demotivating for the top alliances to loose silly amount of glory because of these circumstances.
Now when the CWC tournament is having its final round and many top players are swapping alliances because of that it might be demotivating for the top alliances to loose silly amount of glory because of their top guns are not in the war.

So I have a sort of an understanding for the top teams to discontinue their progress with a top rank alliance, and please don't look at the things only from your perspective.

Now back to the proposed solution:
A meaningful solution to somehow still please the player base - in my opinion - is to introduce a "seasonal leader-board" for alliances (while maintaining the current all time leader-board)
I believe, that whatever rule you'd use to sanction the alliances for not warring is just plain silly - there will be always some solution to outfox it... And on the other side this all time leader-board is a reflection of the efforts of too many players....

So back to the suggestion: The seasonal leader-board should be started (re-initiated) every 2nd (3rd) month with the half of the glory points of the alliances from the last season's seasonal leader-board capped from the bottom with 12k glory points.
Each war would have different glory point rewards for the seasonal and for the all time leader-board.
The rest of the details could be clarified inside the dev team, I'm sure....

Surly you must use this as motivation to try and surpas these “inactive alliances”.
This isn’t a problem that can’t be overcome, what does need Nexons attention is something that affects a greater audience then the top 100. Sandbagging is the number 1 thing that upsets us players, not the inactive alliances in the top 100.

Number 1 team on leaderboard is one of the many Samurai created. At first sight, looks like an active team: 31 players. When you check the team, you find that they are all iron age. Leader is a level 12. So, the top team in the leaderboard is nothing more than a parking lot for sandbags. Sad.

I dont know what you think we did. I played in The 1st Dynasty the last 3 years, and we never moved away from the alliance because we didnt want to loose glory. I always found pride in that. I dont like to be judgemental towards others. They can do as they like as long they dont cheat. I want Nexon to fix the dead alliances on the leaderboard, and I think they will.

No, you don’t . We never did it. There are no ghost 1st Dynasty team in the leaderboard. There is an active and strong team. If you want to learn it, you are invited to visit us.

the leaderboard feels halfway engineered.
to be practically useful, it should be smarter and useful for others than the top 100.
i was on it once, back when ~20k glory was enough.

1st Resort, 1stVikings, 1st GA, Dynasty Armada, all these alliances were/are used by 1st Dynasty to play the glory game.... not even talking about the fixed matches among these alliances and others like Dutch Warlords... Samurai was with full force at the top of the leaderboard for the last 3-4 months, while this was never the case by the various KA teams... Now you come here to criticize Samurai for a "tactic" which was never invited by them... Hypocrisy, that's the word which comes to my mind...

You cannot be further from the truth even if you tried. Have a look at the leaderboard ;-)
The 1st Dynasty has and always had real players - never abandoned - always active warring
And for the record, I dont criticize your alliance for not doing the same. I want Nexon to stop the dead alliances.

Jag, I believe we’re being ignored. Many of us have been complaining for over a year about this. That tells me BHG simply doesn’t give a buck. Very sad considering it’s our only measurement of accomplishments and rankings. BHG should be embarrassed by this.

BHG, are you embarrassed to have such a huge game with dirty underwear? That’s what you have here. Wake up.

It's funny to see some still have no clue about what they're talking about but happily continue to do so after all this time...

Definitely ignored. I dont know how they want to motivate top players and top spenders to spend money in their game when their measure of success is broken. In addition to this they will break nation balance again after 18th October, with 90% of players in Top100 alliances (the real ones lol) will be Germans. I came back to this game few weeks ago but already thinking of quitting cuz it seems it didnt get better, actually only worse (first 2 rebalances I like although it would need nation balance a bit too).
