Leaderboard - remove the inactive alliances

Hello

Im leader of The 1st Dynasty and been playing this game since 2015. It is no doubt a very fun stratical game.
It has been a while since I wrote in the forum - I think last time was about reduction of extra troops in strongholds.

Now I have to speak up again.
The leaderboard with glory was more or less from the beginning a succes and motivation for me as a player. It showed who could win most wars and get most glory in the world. “Sandbagging” were a problem but the leaderboard still showed the strongest alliances in the world.

It still more or less show this... if you take out the 35 inactive war alliances on the top 100 leaderboard!! It is highly demotivating to watch and the number will only rise.

The only two things which really demotivate us players are
1) loosing to cheat hacker alliances in wars and
2) loosing silly amount of glory to top alliances which leave their original alliance on the top of leaderboard because they want to take bigger amount of glory from other alliances.

We are currently number 25 on the leaderboard. But only 13 active war alliances are in front of us.

Im in an alliance which take pride in playing in our alliance and not leaving it on the leaderboard.
I dont like other alliances steeling other teams glory with new alliances but it is up to them what they find morally right. It is tecnically not cheating.
But I want you, Nexon, to stop it!

In the last months we have lost over 3K of glory to alliances which left their original alliance to take more glory for their opponents. I will not mention any names, because I dont even think they want this kind of leaderboard. It is ridicoulous.
In less then 24 hours we will loose another 1K glory to a top alliance which left their original alliance on the top of leaderboard.

So what to do?
There are many ways to remove the inactive war alliances on the leaderboard. Like in the leagues every alliance should have at least one war per week to maintain leaderboard status. Fail to complete the war and you are out like in the leagues.
An easy fix could also be deduction in glory every week while an alliance is not playing wars and make that decrease exponential.

Now is the time to act and stop it and motivate the active alliances and players.

Even though I know we will rise again as we always do, I seek your help, Nexon. You should be on our side on this one. The leaderboard shows only 65 active war alliances...
Motivate me, motivate us. It is good business for you.

I know we are not number 1 on leaderboard anymore and the biggest paying costumers... but we are certainly still paying you a lot of money.

and while you are at it, finally remove the cheating alliances. That would finally give a real view of the best teams.
tired of reporting the same cheaters over and over and getting the generic answer :”we are looking into it”. Stop looking and start acting.

I definitely agree that the leaderboard is not a true representation of the top 100 active alliances and there should be a system implemented that automatically removes inactive alliances if they do not compete in a war at least once a week or if their members leave to go create a new alliance and start over.

Agree totally. And have been playing Shawshank Redemption with Nexon writing this very thing for weeks and weeks and months and months and a year and a day.

If you don’t war once per week your “runged out” of top 100. Simple and please don’t say “Golly folks were unable to do that.”

That this isn’t automatically done is indicative of a pay to play company that cares very little...strike...DOES NOT care about the largest consensus of their players who continually ask for valid and significant game improvement ideas only to see Nexon come out with game updates that have nothing to do with player requests. But continue on Nexon but recognize your revenue would be greater then current if you just listened to your players.

I completely agree! The leader board is a joke in its current state. As far as how long an alliance can remain on the leader board without warring, one week may be a little short. I think one month is certainly plenty of time though.

Enough already BHG, fix the dam leaderboard. It’s been well over a year. And stop selling EA’s. Don’t you get it? The EA’s have slowly destroyed this game.

Thank you for your response fellow players! I would like to see some action or response from Nexon now.

The number of dead alliances are rising dramatically now.

47 alliances are not playing wars now!!!

Only 2 alliances in top 10 are real and playing wars! Crazy

Please stop this madness and motivate your players Nexon. Soon “top 100” will consist of the same 10 alliances...

The leaderboard is certainly a mess. If you remove the cheaters (and yes, I'm including those who still exploit the SH and resource bugs), you'd be down to what, 10 or 15 alliances?

It still wouldn't address the issue of glory poaching unless they change how they calculate glory payout.
