Do Cheaters Get Banned/Punished/Slapped On The Wrist Successfully? I'm Just Wondering

I really just want to know if anyone out there actually has a success story when reporting an obvious hacker. Success as an actual account be suspended. Even though it's clear that there is blatant cheating going on during raids, the small problem is that what you watch is a replay and not live. I know that little tidbit of information allows the developers a loop hole that "Oh it's a visual glitch" because I get that response all the time. I've also seen many a base that has 10-15 buildings all under construction all at the same time and reported those but got no confirmation that anything happened.

So just so I don't lose my mind, can someone share a story where something actually happened? Cheers!

Funny, when I initially started writing about it I put that they are losing money because of hackers but your point #1 dawned on me as well so I deleted that part. I figured they are probably at least/most buying the additional houses/estate. Got to look legit =)

I’ve reported dozens of upgrade cheaters and their hacked towns have been deleted within a few days. Combat cheaters don’t seem to be as high a priority.

I don't even get the visual glitches response. I get the canned please send us information and we will do an investigation issue resolved according to customer support. I have never seen results even when I provide info which when in war I feel is like asking me to do their job. If they can send me a message in game they should be able to pull the current war I am in. I get needing that info for some random in Multiplayer mode.

I’m guessing by the lack of response from Nexon that the answer to your question is no, or possibly ‘our analysis are currently investingating this issue’. Basically they either don’t give a toss or they have no programmers competent enough to do anything about it. They stuck their heads where the. Sun don’t shine and are hoping it will go away

I aggree with tifoos Nexon doesnt take action when I report someone Always send me same context "we willbe investigating" But there is not action to these guys.
But I am disaggree in aspect of revenue Because These guys doesnot spend Money. Contrary legal playing guys spend against to them But after a while,we will tired ...

That is unfortunate, if you don't want to share here would you pm me. Did you get a reason for ban? What was the allegation? How long after the said offence was this? I think they need to prioritise these so called investigations as if you were banned simply for suspected suspicious behaviour that is not great solution either. I might suspect a player of cheating but I don't have the transparency to say for sure a player is cheating which is what we have support for. However there does need to be some accountability on their end if they want to succeed in many of the world markets.

I think they’ve given up even reading these posts, let alone doing anything about them. The game is dying on its knees and they’ve clearly no idea how to deal with it. They’ll keep it going whilst it pays the bills, but the fact that they’ve just introduced extremely dodgy legal clauses to avoid litigation means that they know trouble is coming and there’s blood in the water.

We take cheating very seriously, and are always working to catch people who cheat in our game. If a player is found cheating or benefiting from another player's cheating, their account will be penalized based on the severity of the offense, up to and including permanent closure where appropriate.
