Bugs in city edit mode

Hi folks, having another issue when in city edit mode. I'm trying to place my roads as shown in the picture, but you can see the road is broken up with gaps. No matter what I do, I can't place a road on these spaces, therefor can't link my buildings for the bonus. Every time I go into the edit mode, the places where this happens are random. Sometimes it happens at the start, or towards the final stages meaning everything I've done is wasted. Getting really frustrated with this bug laden game. Already reported two other serious bugs and only been on it about 3 days. Please help.

I had that happened to me, had to save, close and reopen the game and the display went back to normal
