I ve been playing this game 7-8 years and have spent enough to be at lv 10 almost 11 VIP. I was able to plan ahead and collected enough artifacts to have strong museums for most of the meta comps. ive invested a small fortune in artifact and counsel re-rolls to be able to adjust to the future changes. now I feel pigeon holed in using army and aircraft comps I don’t enjoy using if I want to succeed as fighters and helis are now too weak. the message I’m getting from these changes to artifact lines is tough **** on the money you have spent and spend more to make the units you like usable again. I feel very foolish for ever opening my wallet.

Many players hide their museum on the preparation day or set a fake museum. So attackers have to set up their museum without knowing what the defenders are choosing.
So if 10 defenders go anti-bomber, then you need 5 mortar attackers. Or vice versa.
Consequently, with 2 attack tactics you need 10 attackers, 5 bombers and 5 mortars. Otherwise you are gambling whether all attacks will fail.

Even that remains challenging, as there are many pitfalls: e.g. traps and defender spawns, ... plus all the bugs like illogical routes for airplanes and ground troops, motionless troops, ...

on top of that, the defenders also have to defeat an attacker of the same age to win the war; that is also challenging

I don't know any top ally who hides her museum, and that speaks AGAINST your statement. We'll be able to see it anyway when it starts.

2-3 bombers and 2-3 mortar players are enough to destroy all defensive players easily, for the rest you don't need any effort anyway. With the Showcast and new Mythic Artifacts, and Hotfix you can forget about the defensive, I guarantee you that take a screenshot. Numbers speak for themselves and you have no idea about dominations or WW

My teammates are destroying every defensive player with a semi-strong museum without any additional buildings... what are you talking about ? and that against the top 10 allies

u can defeat an attacker as a defender at the moment, with the showcast it will be super easy

No you dink… it’s the fact that a streamer that people listen to, one that BHG supposedly gave recognition to for “helping players” doesn’t even realize that this was up for consideration and says not to believe info that isn’t officially from the Devs. All of this under a post with a screenshot of Harlems saying they were going to change it.

Wait and see what? Without community feedback the last statement they had was it’s happening! Radio silence since then… the only reason it potentially won’t happen is because of all the backlash, but when a streamer doesn’t even realize the last official statement on the matter when a screenshot of it is thrown in their face and calls it scaremongering- that is a problem.

One streamer saying it’s not an official statement (when it clearly was) and the other saying they don’t know because they hope BHG listens to the feedback is 2 completely different concepts.

Eh you're entitled to your opinion. Not sure where you read “wait and see” in any of this conversation or from any of the BHG staff. On the contrary everything said so far has been straightforward and definitive from BHG.

1. Our code is built so that it's possible to craft artifacts with more than 2 benefit lines
2. It has NOT been possible to craft these
3. What will happen going forward? With the release of our 12.20 update, that limitation will no longer stop you from crafting Artifacts with 2+ lines.

Pretty sure that brings us to this end-of-the-world, mob-mentality nonsense you so harshly criticize. Not really a “wait and see” type of dialogue like you magically made up in your mind.

Regardless, we’re getting off base here. The point was that even a streamer who was supposedly recognized by BHG for helping keep players informed didn’t even have an idea that this is planned to happen.

Btw, Fighters will probably become a viable option again when the showcase starts..
Plenty of legendaries have fighter lines.

Agreed fighters will eventually be useful again but not in the same capacity they were. Have to wait for showcase and they’ll synergize very well with infiltrators again.
