You realize there are people that have an issue with this across all of the socials right…? Facebook, discord, Reddit, X…. It’s not just on the forums.

Yes, I'm fully informed. And they're almost always the same.

Just because you haven’t put in the time and money that most players have into their museums doesn’t mean your fake claims of 95% of people like these changes has any validity behind them. If that were true they would be saying it. Not “new member” accounts like yours making up wild lies.

If anything 95% of players don’t know how royaly screwed their museums are about to be if BHG “fixes” the code because they aren’t on any of the socials.

Firstly, I have invested money and will continue to do so, and secondly, I never said that 95% are satisfied.

Care to explain how? Crystal ball?
Common sense? I’ve beaten the horse dead explaining it in detail, I guess one more time wouldn’t hurt.

If I offered you a war weapon with 5 bomber lines would you not use it in place of a war weapon with only 2 bomber lines?

Apply that logic to every artifact in your museum and that’s the end result. Your current museum is inferior to what could be acquired if they “fix” the code. Which means all the time and money you spent creating your current museum it just gets deleted.

Of course I'd use it but you said a museum would be rendered useless - this new artifact would improve your museum. So it's a win for you, right?
Now, if you're talking about someone else getting an improved museum and using it against you? Firstly, I understand but everyone on here is already assuming other players are suddenly going to get these unicorns on a regular basis. This is our old friend bhg we're talking about here - since when do they do anything so magnanimous for the community??
Second, everyone's already assuming a) other players are going to get a number of unicorns and they're going to have to re-arrange their own museum to accommodate these unicorns and b) the unicorn players are automatically going to be attacking them.
If they're unicorns they should be very rare and they could be in the hands of some lucky Atomic or Space age player - far away from you.
And my comment stands: your museum is just as strong the day before implementation as it will be the day after, or the week after, or the month after. You're not necessarily (if at all) going to come across regular opponents with the unicorns. Unless you have a crystal ball that we're not aware of?
You say thigs like "every artifact" and "could be acquired" but as I said, this is our old friend bhg. If they're going to increase the extremely small chance of getting unicorns I personally don't think it's going to make an ounce of difference in the overall pool of players and possible combinations. If it does it should still be rare.
If they actually make the chances something like 1-in-500 then you'd be right to be concerned - otherwise this is just a teacup tempest. And speaking of which, have bhg actually given us the odds of getting these unicorns?? Or have they simply said they've made it more possible?
If players believe bhg then I'd like them to contact me - I own a bridge in Sydney harbour and would like to sell.
Remember, the house always wins.

Got love all these new accounts sticking up for BHG. It’s almost like they are made up accounts of BHG employees.

No real player wants this. So their either trolling ( my bud King C) or work for BHG.

I would suggest stopping this tactic BHG we don’t trust yall as is this is just adding to it. Just saying sad display players are seeing right now.

Damn those bugs . I've used to live with them after all those years.
For the inaccurate replays , honestly? It's ten years issue! I don't care anymore, Ok,They trying fix to them , probably they'll do, but it doesn't affect my fun if they don't.
It is what it is as you said.

What I want from BHG? Creativity and more updates with new stuff to make the game more interesting and fun..
i have learned to live with all the bugs also. yes this has not stopped having fun with the game. the game was fun but now it is becoming funny.... as you can see there are many of us who enjoy this game. requesting transparency and communication seems like a legit thing to me. if i don't have proper replay the fun creaks becomes less, in my point of view. if the troops while attacking don't respond to the commands you gave sometimes, they either nail or shoot the walls randomly making the game less fun. planes making unnecessary laps around the map wasting your time while attacking have been around for many years. again in my humble opinion. now the support of the community they have always had it in 10 years straight... and also spending good money. and even with their small group of developers at this point it seems fair to me that they should have already closed the most critical bugs. (artificial intelligence of troop behavior, replay, the range of helis ecc...)
i just hope they will stop introducing new bugs for every update they make. it doesn't make sense. not anymore. after 10 years of experience in the field...
yes, they are working hard... but they are working harder how to make more money. there is nothing wrong with that. but you have to deserve them though. peace out

You’ve hit the nail on the head with your sentiment of this is BHG… yes they have used the terms “unicorn” and “lightning in a bottle” all in the same breath of saying it’s possible to get.

Well… we all saw how that turned out…

If you really believe that they’re going to be unicorns I would like to sell you a piece of property in Alaska where it’s a perfect 76 degrees year round and virgins as far as the eye can see my friend.

If you consider on weapons there are the following lines:

1: Infantry
2: Ranged infantry
3: Raider
4: Tank
5: Siege
6: Supply healing
7: Mortar
8: Attack heli
9: Assault vehicle
10: MG
11: Infiltrator
12: Heavy tank
13: Bazooka
14: Armored car
15: APC
16: Tactical heli healing
17: MRL
18: Fighter
19: Bomber
20: Paratrooper

As well as the opposing invading lines.

So double that to 40 possible lines.

Triple that because we can get 1%, 3%, and 5% lines, now we’re up to 120 possibilities.

If we are only allowed to have 5% listed twice but can get 3% or 1% (or any similar variation) then the chances of getting a 3 lined artifact with the same troop name is about 1 in 133 artifacts.

If you’re looking for a specific troop such as bombers then the chances drop significantly to 1 in 5,319 artifacts.

Considering we do 5 artifacts per pull that should only take about 1000 pulls to find a natural 3 lined artifact.

IF you believe that bhg will be as generous as many complainers believe.
Don't get me wrong, I know what you're upset about but I just don't see it happening. As I said, we're talking about our old friend bhg ...

Anyway, I love the cold but I prefer mature women so I'll have to pass on your generous offer. 😄

I can think of two times where accidental coding mistakes ended up being made permanent. Once was with the Fort range and the other with a drone directive that could impact recon and nighthawk. There is precedent and I would urge you, like the others, to continue on this precedent. Let the coding stand as is. If you want to offer some way where people can buy a chance for these lightening in the bottle artifacts and have yet another slot in museum then I am fine with that. Undoing all the years due to an error, I agree that it is already too late and you should follow the precedent you already have established with your customers.

Also, I do appreciate the apology and think it takes character for you to issue the apology but also look into the issues. Hopefully some of the past responses from your colleagues are reviewed for tone and messaging (one I saw in this thread is a good example). Definitely some better CX could have been demonstrated there.

Although this will still be a low drop rate due to the sheer amount of benefits within the game, our pool of Artifact benefits will now align so that you have the opportunity to run into that unicorn artifact in our next update and onward.

For those who enjoy maximizing their Museum Benefits, 12.20 will open the floodgates wide!
Hi Harlem
I imagine the two comments "low drop rate" and "floodgates wide" are causing some confusion - so are you able to give us an idea of what the odds of "low drop rate" actually are??
It might help soothe some ruffled feathers. (or not) 😄

There are errors whose impact is barely noticeable. And there are critical errors that ruin the functionality. Both types of errors need to be fixed, the only difference will be in priority. The fact that developers leave it "as it turned out" speaks of their low competence - they do not know, do not understand and do not want to spend time, which will take them quite a lot due to low competence, on fixing the bug. In addition, such behavior expresses disrespect for those who use the functionality, that is, all players. Many small bugs can be fixed with the note "Technical debt" within the QoL, but this happens so rarely that the game is literally riddled with various bugs. If they played the game, they themselves would have discovered this and probably fixed it. Yes, of course, their BackLog is littered with tasks for further development of the project for profit, but they cannot forget about errors! I have already described an example here

obviously they don't care . according to this reasoning. but that's how it's always been. otherwise all the bugs they've had for a decade, they would have fixed them with 50 developers they have writing the game code... it is what it is :) (y)

C'mon dude, it's a forum for the exchange of ideas and I'm more than happy to acknowledge ideas born of actual facts. If you're throwing around accusations and opinions then, as much as I dislike the current game's direction, I'll throw in some opinions of my own for the sake of discussion. Since we have no clear answer from the devs, anything is possible, right?
As you know I'm always up for a good discussion. 😁

ps: if someone doesn't agree with you it's not automatically trolling ...

there is a lack of logical thinking
on your site

In a world war of 20 you need exactly 5 offensive players, 2-3 bombers and 2-3 mortars and you destroy the entire defense… the mortars destroy the anti bomber defenders and the Bomber players destory Mortar Defenders… WOW VERY CHALLENGING
Many players hide their museum on the preparation day or set a fake museum. So attackers have to set up their museum without knowing what the defenders are choosing.
So if 10 defenders go anti-bomber, then you need 5 mortar attackers. Or vice versa.
Consequently, with 2 attack tactics you need 10 attackers, 5 bombers and 5 mortars. Otherwise you are gambling whether all attacks will fail.

Even that remains challenging, as there are many pitfalls: e.g. traps and defender spawns, ... plus all the bugs like illogical routes for airplanes and ground troops, motionless troops, ...

on top of that, the defenders also have to defeat an attacker of the same age to win the war; that is also challenging

sometimes you just can’t explain something to someone that doesn’t want to realize they’re not comprehending.
That probably applies to both sides.
This change doesn't just only negative expectations. The museums are not automatically getting worse and no one is getting the new (and rare) artifacts for free.
If, as it seems here, all the big players and top alliances agree that they don't want to modify their museum,
then just ignore the new chances. If everyone does that, then nothing will change for you.
But if you are afraid that players will upgrade their museum massively, then there seem to be players who are eagerly awaiting this bugfix ;-)

Perhaps we can agree that we have different expectations for the future.

When the vast majority of players are against an idea because it’s a complete overhaul to an existing aspect of the game that players spent time and money it’s a problem. Of course there will always be a small percentage that thinks an idea is good.

All of the social media sites reflect this. All of the alliance discords im in reflect this.

To say “if you don’t like it then just ignore it” is just plain ignorant. This is a game that many have invested years in and to face the options of “tough shit deal with it” or quit playing because an 8 year old standard gets changed on a whim isn’t the way customers should be treated.

Glad you have your opinion. Until more than 2 or 3 people on this forum or any of the socials think it’s a good idea then to me it’s irrelevant.
