When you do strikes, if you 5* your opponent, you plunder one of their legendary tokens.

Up to 5 tokens extra per day. Offensively. It would bring back the plundering nature of the game since it was lost, especially for the upper level players who have maxxed resources 24/7 and have little reason to engage in non war attacks.

If you attack but score no stars, you lose a token.

This works vice versa. If someone 5*s you, you lose a token. If you defend with no stars against you, you get the 50 crowns and a token.

Taking tokens from other players or crowns to me equal gambling and this not Fanduel

I believe there should be no possibility of token loss. I would argue that this destroys the ladder for new entrants to the game.
