Standardized Base Layouts

As you all know organizing our bases is super time consuming and at times can be of a hassle. Just laying down roads, walls and traps can take a very long time.

It would be great if we had a set of standard base templates to choose from which we could then modify if so desired.

At the very least, we need a base management layout. This one would have all of the buildings and base elements organized by type and would allow us to easily keep track of what needs to be upgraded. This one would not be used for defense, just building management.

I've been playing since the game was a month old and hate the base design process so much, that I have only changed mine about 2-3 times.

There has to be a better way.

A standard base - like a standard piece of string?
I get it but how would you determine a standard base or sets of them? And who gets to decide that, bhg or a poll of the players?

Standard layouts probably won't work, as some people deliberately keep a forest on their land. But some have it in one of the four corners, others on the edges, and others in the middle. Different layouts would have to be created for each option.

However, it would be nice if we could copy layouts, at least as far as possible. Then we would only have to place the few buildings that would otherwise end up in the forest.

I like the idea of the management layout.
I currently use one of the three layouts for sorted buildings. Then I have to switch from the normal layout to management, assign the workers, and switch the layout back again.
But that's prone to errors; for example,
- sometimes the trees extend beyond the edge and prevent the layout from changing,
- sometimes the layout change isn't saved, especially if I close the game in the first minute after doing so - then the city doesn't have adequate protection for the next few hours.

look at how Clash of Clans does layout copy within their game and an online basebuilder It has worked well

At least have the ability to copy a same level base and one above within the game

Copying layout has been suggested it would be a great ad and would help alliance leaders allot with new players

Definitely would help phone players be more competitive

100%, I believe I have mentioned this before too, CoC does this. You can copy a base layout and paste to the game. CoC has many sites that do this they have hundreds if not thousands of base layouts to copy, both for mp and war , for every age level.
