Seems like it's attempting to link your account with some iOS version or something.

This prevents the user from playing the game, it first started with attempting to link said iOS account with web version, and then from that point on there is no "Play Game" button at all.

The old one is so much better. There is a fair degree of black border, but the screen space is used well. The 2:1 aspect ratio is appropriate.
In the new version, so much screen space is wasted by the squares (world trivia, coming soon) at the right edge. The 16:9 aspect ratio has changed for the worse. The lack of width reduces the visible area of the troop tray and makes even more swiping necessary.
I really hope that the UI designers either rework this or at least keep the old 2:1 format as an alternative.

In addition, the list box for selecting the city should either be placed at the top or open upwards. Currently, you can't even see the first entry in complete and have to scroll up and down unnecessarily often.

i did hard refresh using CTRL + SHIFT + R in browser. That worked for me too, now i can play the game using windows/chrome browser. However i must say the new normal screen is too small. i tried to zoom using browser (control +) setting but the zoom it's not proportional that didn't work well. the function fullscreen looks great but i prefer the pre-update normal screen. thank you.

That's odd that it's 'small' for you. Did you try Ctrl+ or just zooming in on your browser page?

When I say that its small, the game screen is smaller than the size it was before the update. I can, of course, zoom in like you suggest.

In the list for selecting a new base, after selecting the base should that base then load automatically?
At the moment I have to reload the browser after selecting the new base, then it goes back to the "Play" screen, then I tap PLAY to load the new base. Is this correct? @Harlems369th

I use Chrome but World Trivia and main game would only load and work in Safari. I tried clearing cache and site data on Chrome and it did nothing. The CMD+SHIFT+R did the trick! Hope it stays working.
