Veterans Day Event 11/3 - 12/1
This week begins our Veterans Day Event!
In 1945, World War II veteran Raymond Weeks from Birmingham, Alabama, had the idea to expand Armistice Day to celebrate all veterans, not just those who died in World War I. Weeks led a delegation to Gen. Dwight Eisenhower, who supported the idea of National Veterans Day. U.S. representative Ed Rees from Emporia, Kansas, presented a bill establishing the holiday through Congress. President Dwight D. Eisenhower, also from Kansas, signed the bill into law on May 26, 1954.
Because it is a federal holiday, some American workers and many students have Veterans Day off from work or school. Legally, two minutes of silence is recommended to be observed at 2:11pm Eastern Standard Time.

King Tut’s Tomb Event 11/4 - 11/11
In 1922, archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the entrance to the tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings. The tomb had been lost for centuries, preserving a massive trove of ancient artifacts. Along with the famous funerary mask and solid gold coffin, Carter’s team found thrones, weapons, musical instruments, jewelry, an alabaster chalice, and a dagger made of meteoric iron. This massive collection of artifacts still travels the world as a museum exhibition and has ensured King Tut’s place in history!

Actions Against Cheating/Exploits
Over the last month, we have banned 1,795 players, thanks to your help in reporting possible cheating and players exploiting the game. This significant increase was driven by our enhanced security efforts, which were prompted by the DDoS attack on our servers earlier this month, and we’re still refining them. Many of these were caused by the influx of new accounts resulting from the DDoS, but it also helped us expand our security measures even further and become more effective.
While we make regular checks and investigations throughout the week, our vigilance can only go so far without your help. With your continued assistance, we can ensure that DomiNations maintains a fair and competitive play environment!
