Offensive Rebalance

As you guys went totally out of control on the defensive rebalance it might be time ro give us back lots of power in attacks. Before i was 5 starring CWA bases 50 lvls above me and now i am having trouble getting 3 stars on a base 20 lvls higher then me. This rebalance made many people stop playing the game already and the fun for me is also pretty much gone. I know you guys find it hard to listen to your players (customers) but for once listen to us and make this game worth playing again. For me as a lvl 211 Atomic age there is not much fun left. I really hope you do something with my message. I hope the game team also sees it really gotten out of hand.

we've been writing posts similar to yours for 2 months now. Joe (lead designer) said a few interesting things but it remains to be seen how trustworthy he really is.

This is the reason they made the rebalance, and if your case was the norm l can understand why they did it.
l can understand if a 5star win 50lvls above you is a very hard win, it should not be an easy win. Actually, 3 stars on 20lvls above you is about right.
Which begs the questions: are you simply a brilliant attacker or do you attack poorly upgraded bases above you?
Or do you use paid troop cards for each attack?

Discussions like this drive me a little crazy - the number of levels above or below you doesn't matter AT ALL. If you have a maxed CWA offense, then it doesn't matter what level you are, you have basically the same firepower anywhere between 230 and 303. So it is pretty meaningless to talk about how many levels up or down you can hit.

Give us your offensive firepower (Max CWA, near max, mostly atomic, whatever) and the level number of the bases you can usually hit. Those levels say a lot more about defensive strength than offensive, on average.

yemen: maybe I'm missing something, but he says that he is lvl 211 Atomic age. Following to what he said in my opinion it is not reasonable to think that he coubld make 5 stars vs. lv261.
First of all he can't be CWA as you can move to CWA only at lv220. There is something wrong with he's post. In anycase Yemen ti is correct that if you have a maxed CWA offense, you have basically the same firepower anywhere between 230 and 303, but you need to consider the opponent base layout, bonuses and artifacts, and why not your luck during the attack.

So it is clear that follwing to the rebalance it is harder to attack, but in my opinion it is more fun also because the first retrain of the days is for free so you can attack with less care of your units.

Yeah people like OP is one of the reasons they came up with rebalance 😒
Why don't you all attack the same levels and age, that would be the real balance 😒 common sense.
El Jefe I'm glad you now get the 5 stars harder.

Fair, I missed the 211 bit. So should have said maxed atomic offense But it did used to be true that a good AA offense plus some strong troop cards could 5 star up to a 250-260, now they can't.

But the problem there was always troop cards. He couldn't have gotten close to 5*ing a 250-260 in a 0TT war where the opponent went 3D.

As long as the matchmaking will be done against the medal no attack will make sense.

This is not the first post I'm saying this, but matchmaking must be done thru:
1. age
2. level.

Medals have nothing to do with attack or defense power.
The age gives you the "capabilities" or "potentialities" of a single account. Everyone decides what to develop. Unfortunately there is an issue with the level, as your attacking army does not contribute in raising your level.
Armies slots are given moving from one age to the other. F.I. now Im AA and I've 155 slots for troops plus mercenaries, planes, additional armies etc.... The only thing you cannot control is how much your army is upgraded (no XP for upgrading a troop), but it is fari enough as you have a two ways matchmaking engine.
Doing this you will also reduce the need for medal dropping avoiding lv 260 to be matched with lv 170

Precisely the reason I asked my questions. There's definitely some pieces missing. :D
