New Event - Historical Harvest!

Greetings Leaders,

This Fall we’re introducing a brand new event to keep your progression going between Summer for the Ages and Winter for the Ages! The Historical Harvest will have you going back to school with discounts on the University Building and University Leader Upgrades. We’ll also be offering an updated Conqueror’s Chest, Councilors for Crowns, and more! Historical Harvest will run from 10/3 until 12/12 leading up to Winter for the Ages.

Instant Town Center Upgrades 9/23 - 12/12
The Instant Town Center Upgrade you’ve come to know from Summer for the Ages will remain during the Historical Harvest Event. With each Age Up you can continue to keep your Citizens busy and explore what your new Age has to offer.

University Discounts 10/3 - 12/12
Fall is back-to-school season, and as such, we’ll be discounting University-related upgrades during Historical Harvest!

Conqueror’s Chest Update
The Conqueror’s Chest during Historical Harvest offers larger SpeedUps than usual and even the possibility to drop double the previous quantity! We’ve also included Helipad and B-17 Hangar as building rewards.

Councilors for Crowns
You can look forward to Councilor step-up sales for Crowns! Starting 10/3, you’ll be able to work toward collecting a Councilor every two weeks, where the final step guarantees the Councilor!

Councillors for crowns - yikes! You guys are really going all out on this new make-everything-easy campaign. Newbies will be delighted! Why not just give everything away for free and make instant retraining the norm?
Maybe us oldies can hope for all manufactory production to take no more than 3 mins and everything cost no more than 10 components each??

Shouldnt that be communicated to the player base before implemented ?
I remember that all the past years there was a way to get some crowns. Now there is none .

Wow, this game is sliding down an icy slope. I guess the time and effort put into the game was a waste. When will the buildings instantly be built. Seems like that will be next.

I remember that all the past years there was a way to get some crowns. Now there is none .

I get them from stags and expeditions -- not as many crowns total per week as in the last few months but I think there are still more than a year or two ago. I don't think I have any right to notice of such a change.

For the “Councilors for Crowns”, it looks like you can get a given guaranteed legendary for 6000 crowns. Is that right? And if so, do you get both a war and a multiplayer?

Assuming that Hannibal is representative of future prices, the cost appears to be 45,000 crowns for Epic-level Hannibal (one of each, war and main hall) and for an additional 75.000 crowns, you get the legendary Hannibals. Total cost is 45000+75000=120,000 crowns

In Canadian dollars, at $134 for 60,000 crowns, the two legendaries of the same card cost a total of $238 (or about $200 USD)

costs 112 000 Oil for me. This equals reduction by 10% of the parliament plus 50% of the event.
