The majority of the community here has been very vocal against the museum changes. You have all seen the feedback, held meetings about it, yet the community’s concerns have been completely disregarded.
We have heard the excuse that only 30 to 40 members on the forums have voiced their opinions and that this is a small fraction of the overall player base. That is why I asked for an official announcement on DomiWorld and in-game so everyone would be aware of what is happening.
Since that announcement, more and more alliances have been protesting Update 12.20 by changing their alliance names. This includes alliances currently ranked in the top 10, as shown in the attached screenshot. While the Mythical Artifacts and Museum Showcase features have received mixed reviews, the primary issue driving the backlash is the change to artifact crafting.
This protest extends well beyond the top 10. Many additional alliances within the top 100 have followed suit. Let me be clear: these alliances earned their positions through a combination of strategic skill and significant financial investment. Each of the top 100 alliances consists of approximately 50 members, representing around 5,000 highly engaged players. These are communities that have played together for years, built strong camaraderie, and whose leadership speaks on behalf of their members with a unified voice.
I am speaking out because I love this game and want to prevent BHG from crossing a point of no return, specifically by releasing artifacts that allow more than two of the same troop buff names. Once that happens, there is no going back, and it will ruin the museum experience for every player.
Silencing and banning frustrated members is a slippery slope and not one taken lightly. Sharing screenshots of reviews that are posted by other members or a meme is not valid reasoning that you can label rage posting or spam. These are facts shared as proof and has been escalated to top executives in BHG through LinkedIn.
Please take this protest seriously and listen to your player base. It is not too late to show the community that you value our opinions.
When your quarterly revenue reports come in I want you to remember these 7 words,
“This is what we warned you about…”
