Munitions should add war weight regardless if they are set or not.

it’s a pain in the butt removing and adding munitions every war so we are lighter in war. But now with strike, this means half the time people are attacking my base without munitions on ( they are taken off after I attack, until next war is found) so my base is way easier to 5 star. My solution for this would be to make them count as weight if they are set or not. Or have 2 munitions sets, one for war and one for main hall like museum has. There’s way too much preparation added and gets very monotonous having to remove and add munitions every war. Please consider changing something so we don’t have to keep doing this

Fyi, not busting your chops, just don't believe its the devs responsibility to solve a problem of your own making.

Well I haven’t bothered with war weight in while (4 years or so). I have to say yea going all offense till maybe info but after that just build and upgrade all you can. Plus the slight war weight manufactured armor is not that much to stress about. Personally I will just upgrade all your stuff cause sooner rather than later you will need it.

Given nobody is really benefiting from it because everyone is doing it they could do us all a favor and remove munitions from war weight calculation and we could go back to leaving them in place. One less thing!!

Why not just leave them on anyway lol it won’t effect yall that much but just my thought

I agree. I did it for a few wars in the past and I went down a few ranks in each war, but it’s really not that significant. It’s an iota worth to me for selecting opponents these days.

Maybe if you were doing 30 man wars and having every single person doing it might add up eventually, but probably not a lot.

With them on I’m 6 on the list, without I’m 12 so it drops six places of weight. We all do it now so the list doesn’t change much but we tested it when it first became a thing. That equates to a level 450 being counted as a 420. Now we all do it then it lowers our weight maybe 10%. We’ve tried leaving them on and got drawn against 7.62 X Team and other similar teams. We are top 100 and can hold our own against anyone outside of the top 20, but with munitions we seem to get top 20 teams and even top 10 teams which is a waste of our time and theirs. So we are stuck with this. It seems everyone is doing it in this 20-100 bracket. As I wrote, I wish it wasn’t a thing, but we seem to have a disadvantage if we don’t do it. We suspect even some top teams are doing it to get cannon fodder. “Fat” teams like ours are especially susceptible to mismatches if we don’t do it.

Well that might be part of the reason why yall don’t climb to top 20. Just saying most of not all the 20 don’t worry about weight.

When you are above 400 would be smarter to force them to spend extra time on your base? Last time I checked time wars are becoming the normal again. If you building out your D and armors can cause them to spend 1:45 instead of 1:15 or less you just earned your alliance 30 seconds in time wars and also if you decide to 2 O coalition 1 D.

My thought is when you hit above info that crap about war weight does not help as much as the extra time you gain your alliance by upgrading d tower etc and running amor. Why just surrender and accept the 60 second 5 star when you can cause them to spend time even on O bases.

Thanks for these replies. We run 20 wars and our top ten are fully maxed, the others are always upgrading. It is the maxed bases that make us heavy and these are the bases that drop munitions currently. To be clear we do all hate having to do so. Regarding the top 20, we can’t compete as we don’t pay money for premium TTs. That’s the difference in my opinion. They use squadrons, tups, extra buildings and other things that cost money. You can get these things for free of course but not enough to use every war. We are happy being 50-100, but we do want to avoid those top 20 ‘premium’ teams as they run over even our best defenders and there is no chance of better stars let alone better time
