Eradicator vs Ripley upgrades

Has anyone done the math for which commander is better to upgrade?

I have 2 Robotics accounts and have done 1 each... Ripley at L15 and Eradicator at L2!

I'm thinking Ripley is the better upgrade but looking for confirmation.

Just curious, are all of your important munitions already maxed out?

How can you afford to upgrade the commanders and not those?

No... but I'm thinking that commanders help both attacks and defense.

The munitions for my offense are close to max... my defense, not so much.
