DomiNations Update 12.17 - Base Management

Greetings Leaders,

Update 12.17 introduces some quality-of-life updates to your DomiNations experience. This smaller update will add the ability to rename and delete Bases and a claim all button for Event Rewards. Plus, we’ll be adding a new Library Bookcase to research.

Delete Your Base & Change Names
We’re adding the ability to further edit bases in the Multiple Bases menu. You’ll now be able to rename, and even delete your unused bases!

To Edit your base name, go to the Manage Account button in settings, the same way you would change your base.

Within this menu, tap the edit button.

From there, you’ll notice a new button that reads ‘Edit Name’. Tapping this will open a new window that allows you to change your Base name for Crowns.

You can even Delete Bases you no longer need. Note that you won’t be able to delete your currently active base.

A warning will pop-up prior to completing the Base Deletion process.

Finally, should you desire to leave the DomiNations experience entirely, we’re also making it easier to do so in-game.

Update 12.17 will also introduce a ‘Claim All’ button for collecting Event Rewards.

New Library Bookcase
Our next Library Bookcase will focus on increasing productivity for our early Age players. Starting from Enlightenment Age you’ll unlock the ‘Basic Economics’ research in the Library. These chapters will add increased production for your Caravans and Farms, and also reduce the costs of your Walls, Bastions, Gates, and Traps.

There seems to be a new glitch when doing multiplayer battles. When I purchase a blessing from the pre-battle report page, after placing the blessing on the base I’m left on my home screen instead of the report page. (Not a game breaker, but annoying nonetheless.)

after updating and completing some technologies to reduce construction time or research from the new library bookcase, many players have encountered the problem of losing access to the base after using speed ups. The game crashed and does not allow you to enter, although you can enter other bases. Players wrote to technical support, but did not say anything about the specific time frame for restoring access to the bases.
Apparently, this is a global bug.
Another terrible test... nothing new.

Please announce the time frame for solving the problem.
Players cannot enter their bases.

The problem is not mine, but my friends. The input is as follows - in the new bookcase there are technologies that speed up the construction time of buildings or the study of technologies. If you study, for example, "Trap upgrade time -3%", and then put on the Decoy trap upgrade and use speed ups from the Archive on it, then a crash will occur and the entrance will be blocked. Similarly with technologies to reduce the construction time for defensive structures, university/weapon technologies.

Some victims have already had their access to the base restored, but this all looks like a global incident that needs fixing.

This is due to the fact that the completion of a new chapter in the library will reduce the time of the building being upgraded, which may cause the building upgrade time to become negative, so the game crashes. I hope you guys can solve it soon.

it turns out that it was not technical support that helped solve the problem, but access to the player base was restored after the nearest study of the technology/construction of the building, which were launched in advance, was completed normally. repeated use of acceleration causes another crash and blocking of the entrance to the base

If you're seeing that, it's not how it should be working. I couldn't replicate it after trying myself, so please submit a ticket to the CS Team.

Like our other upgrades, if you implement a time reduction from a bonus during an active upgrade, the active upgrade doesn't get the reduced time. Only the new upgrades going forward.

Hopefully, this gets resolved. We're not seeing much reporting around this issue specifically right now. The more folks we can get reporting this issue, the better, to help pinpoint it. I've not been able to replicate this one either.

Is your friend maxed out on the book? Is it a certain level, is it all traps or limited to only Decoy Trap when they ran into this? Either way, glad it resolved itself, but there are still a ton of variables missing that we could use to help pinpoint the issue.

Someone has a problem with traps, someone with defensive structures, someone with technologies in the library. The situations are different.

All the guys wrote to technical support and gave a detailed report on the actions taken.
Not everyone completely the new bookcase, someone only partly.
