Greetings Leaders,

DomiNations Update 12.10 has begun rolling out and is focused on improving your experience through the ages with our Progression Initiative! You’ll find reduced training times to get back into the battle sooner, additional Houses, increased resource generation rates, and more! We’re also adding a new University Level for those in the Automation Age with a new University Leader, Ransom Olds. Finally, another Councilor is on the way to add to your Council collection.

Ending Support for AOS6 in Update 12.11
Our next update, 12.11, will be ending support for AOS6 and below due to technical requirements. Players will need to upgrade to a device that supports AOS7 and above to continue playing DomiNations.

Progression Initiative

First, a deep dive into the changes coming to Update 12.10: We’re making a massive overhaul to how you interact with the game. The driving force behind these changes is removing barriers preventing you from leveling up at your own pace through the Ages. DomiNations has been out for nearly 10 years, and in that time, there have been so many cool features added to the game that we want even more of you to experience sooner. This update is an effort to alleviate some bottlenecks and get you back into the battle faster!

New Houses
We’re adding one additional House to Stone, Iron, Medieval, and Enlightenment Age. Each House will only cost 50 Gold to build, and even if you’re beyond these Ages, these four additional houses will still cost you 50 Gold each, even for those of you who have reached the Automation Age! This adds 8 additional Citizens total giving you more opportunities to upgrade Buildings and research at the University more often. We aren’t stopping there however, going forward Houses will now only cost 50 Gold across the board! This should give you all ample opportunity to explore what each new Age has to offer and upgrade with a bit more freedom.

Resource Building Changes
If we give you more citizens, you’ll need the resources to use them, right? In Season 8: Readied Reinforcements, we increased Storage Capacity, but we wanted to take it a step further. Update 12.10 not only increases Storage Capacity but also the generation rate of resources. In particular, Oil Storage has doubled for many Ages, and Oil Generation has increased across all Ages!

DomiNations Bonus Changes
The base resources for every Age’s DomiNation Bonus have been greatly increased to improve the amount of resources you’ll acquire. We’ve also further increased the Bonus Food/Gold/Oil multiplier for 3-5 star victories when you attack a Base at the same Age or above.

Reduced Troop Train Times
Training Troops across the board have received reduced times. The longest you’ll wait for an individual troop to be trained is now 1m30s (and that’s just the Transport). Event buildings with Trainable Troops are also included in the reduced training time!

Automation Age Upgrade - University & Ransom Olds

This update adds a level to the University Building and introduces a new University Leader, Ransom Olds.

The next Councilor to join DomiNations is the first woman to win a Nobel Prize AND the first to win the Nobel Prize twice! Marie Curie, a Physicist and Chemist, was one of the Scientists responsible for developing the theory of “radioactivity.” Her Council bonuses improve the damage dealt by your defenses in War, while her Main Hall bonuses improve your aerial superiority.

Additional Updates
  • Replay Improvement Work
    • We’ve been working toward finding solutions to the Replay issues players have been facing for quite some time, we want to express that this pain point hasn’t gone unheard.

      We’ve upgraded our internal Replay testing suite in an effort to improve replay quality. Several bugs have already been identified, and solutions will be headed out for testing soon, with continued fixes throughout the year. At this point, we are very confident with the progress that we’ve made so far, but our work isn’t quite finished. Our goal is to have replays as consistent as possible by the launch of Tournament of Glory. We thank you for your continued patience toward this massive undertaking.
  • Backend Security Improvements
    • We’ve made additional strides in improving our backend security in our ongoing pursuit of tackling attempts at cheating and malicious play within DomiNations.

Why don’t you just start everyone at automated age. It seems like that is what your goal is to have nothing but rushed automation age players.
And then successfuly to do nothing there, because there is a dead end in the game. 🤷‍♂️ :LOL: (irony)

But I, for example, am not hurry to be in Auto Age. I at least have a feeling that I still have room to develop, a sense of the future.

We need proof that War Hits are legit. Replay system is still broke. Till we have absolute accurate report of what hit our War Base no hit is legit.
Why are you so worried about this? Your investment in the game depends on this, are you losing real money? It's just a Replay system of the battles. I just want to know what depends on this?
 
It's high time to come up with something like a "rest home" or "entertainment center", "night club" for Auto Age - so that the citizens don't just get bored without doing anything. At the same time there will be another building for Auto Age - at least something. :ROFLMAO:
Yes. They can watch videos in the entertainment center and earn 5 crowns. Everyone will be happy
 
I want to share my impressions of the game after this update, and specifically about the unprecedentedly meager cooldown for troops. Let me clarify right away - I am a PvP player. I am focused on interesting and successful attacks, obtaining resources for the development of my own city, troops and technologies, research. I am also focused on building a successful defense to repel those few attacks that are made on me, especially defense from "revenge".

After the introduction of meager cooldown for troops, attacks lost all sharpness, excitement - there is no sense of any losses in the attack. Especially when it comes to a quick raider attack to get resources - I don't care at all what cunning schemes the defender has come up with - I take the resources, and that's it. As a result, sophisticated defense in general has depreciated - when you are attacked by those who have nothing to lose, you understand, the advantage is on the attacker's side. Yes, I agree that it is possible to carry out attacks for the sake of victory. But even in this case, in fact, the attacker does not feel the loss.

Resources have become completely worthless - raide them now is not difficult at all and does not require a lot of time. 🤷‍♂️

Blessings have become worthless: instant recruitment, training, flight training. 🤷‍♂️
Even the restoration of troops for viewing ads has lost its meaning, and this, BHG and LTG, is directly your profit, albeit small.
I want to answer right away about the objections regarding the Blessing of Instant Recruitment regarding Generals and Mercenaries - I never use them in attacks, I only use regular troops. Yes, I find it much more interesting that way.

But Special THANKS for the additional houses - this is the main and best thing in this update. If it were not for the meager cooldown for troops, this would be one of the best (there was also an update with Manufacture) updates that I have seen in almost 2 years of playing. 👍💪😁

In general, the game turns from a very interesting military strategy into "Tamogotchi" - go in for a short time - quickly raide resources, send residents to build and explore something (as you know, this is a very long wait), and that's all - there is nothing more to do in the game. It's all somehow sad... :confused:

P.S. I have option a solution. It would be quite reasonable for a real and adequate reduction of the cooldown for troops to introduce a decreasing coefficient for cooldown, which depends on the ratio of the total number of troops of attacker and those used in the attack, and also, possibly, on the number of stars received as a result of the attack. But I am sure, BHG and LTG, as long as you have such a team of developers, you are not able to implement this mechanism in the game.
Sega, you’ve told is that you are a PvP player and you are complaining that battles are no longer challenging and you go through weeks of nothing to do while buildings upgrade.

Please allow me to suggest that you start participating in wars. As an attacker in wars, you face bases that have been designed carefully and staffed aggressively. If you want to beat the strong bases, or make your base actually strong enough to survive (end the war with at least one open star), you have to develop skill, do planning, execute accurately and rapidly. If you have a couple of alts, one war (6 battles) can keep you busy for the entire day.

Oh, and consequences. Try flying mindless loser attacks in war and see what happens. The cost isn’t a few barrels of virtual oil. The cost is in the disappointment of your allies and, if you don’t take your attacks more seriously, the virtual sharpness of the virtual toe of their electronic boot.

PvP attacks are practice for war. If you don’t engage in this team-game’s primary activity (war), don’t complain that a non-war activity that prepares you for war feels meaningless without it

Believe me, even without wars I take both attacks and defense very seriously. If I win many attacks on different bases, and repel attacks from different players in the same way, then it probably means something.
For some reason, it is common to belittle the abilities of PvP-players. Yes, I just play, I don't like being in a crowd of people, but the fact that I am alone - I fight no worse, and, believe me, my base is well protected.

Why I am worried about this? This is War game and if there no proof that War Hits are legit then kinda defeats point of Wars. That is why I am worried plus this puts into question the integrity of O players cause with no proof they get accused of cheating etc .
 
What level. Me too. And this is not the game it was. It has been ruined so they can get impatient newbs to the upper levels quicker and through paying. If you do the game right, you never spend money.
What's wrong with a player reaching high levels quickly enough? All the "experienced" ones are just obsessed with these insanely long waits. You, on the contrary, should be happy that you have even more new opponents in the game.

And I'm not talking about those who achieve something for real money, there is no talk about them at all.

But the real result of the battle is still counted. I myself constantly observe such a picture that I won, but in the replay of the game everything goes completely differently, I win, but not so effectively. But I know that I won, and this is the result that counts.

Or are there ways to cheat the game?
 
I have participated for the last five years. And with all of the rushed automation ages the wars are pointless. The game was like a slow cooking stew now it is a microwave corn dog.
I have 4 active accounts and a 5th that takes naps between travels. Wars are a team sport. If the wars regularly faced by my current alliance have gotten boring, I see how the world looks through the eyes of a new alliance. There are many good alliances that face challenging wars and strive, with no guarantees, to win their wars. Some of these alliances are better for giant hulking automationatons, others are more fun for space agers.

I play a fair bit of chess and 50 years ago, i used to play a lot of baseball. A great game is not about the equipment that you play with. A great experience in the game comes when you find a group of enthusiastic team members and a regular series of matches that are, for you, at your level, difficult but will become within reach if you work at it hard/well enough. If you’re on a team that plays at the wrong (for you) level, find a new team or find a new game.

Games are for entertainment and personal growth / evolution. If the game loses entertainment for you and the you inside the game are becoming stagnant, make a change.

BHG is stirring things up with a longrunning series of rule changes and equipment changes. Each big change creates new opportunities for different teams, with differnt styles, to shine.

Yes there are plenty of cheats out there for this game that have been out and still used . Another reason to fix reports and provide 100 accurate list of what hit War Bases during war.

If you don’t War then you would not know how bad they reports have been and why a 100% accurate list of what hit ur base is needed.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I have a strong belief that the current development team is not capable of fixing the situation - it's too complicated for them. I have a strong belief that they have little understanding of the game's programming code. They only do some "cosmetic improvements" and pass off changes to some game settings as updates - for example, the available number of houses or the time to build something, cooldown, etc. - this is something that does not require programming. But incorrect replays are precisely bugs in the game's programming code.

Although the announcement of the update stated that they found the cause of incorrect replays. If they do manage to fix this, I will be DELIGHTED and very happy for them, as well as for the players.

You have seven accounts. And you roam amongst the groups. Guess you are not much of a reliable team mate. If you go from group to group. What is good for you would not be good for me. I believe in loyalty. Obviously you don’t. That’s where we differ.
