Does the actual damage of an arms unit depend on the playback of its animation? For example, when the attack speed bonus of infantry is excessively high, the damage may be limited due to animation playback constraints (e.g., a maximum of 20 frames played per second). Take this scenario as an example: the infantry's damage (DPS vs. building) is 57,000(attack speed bonus about 80%), and the building's health is 100,000, yet the actual time required to destroy the building is 4 seconds.

Oh, Interesting! I wonder why did it take so long too. Did you experiment with your own base? Didn't you equip Armor with option like 'Invading Heavy Infantry Damage' Reduced?

i test my own base, same result. Not any reduced Heavy Infantry Damage option

Seems like you tested by Challenge. Check out if your layout was 'Home base' or 'War base'. I know you can easily notice it by the attack speed of infantry though..

That extremely fast attack speed, I think it should be the main base.

I'm sure you mean 100,000?

Anyway, the unit's DPS of 57,000 is very interesting ... that's like 1100% increase. Am I missing something?
yeah,100k HP. Use the attack speed bonus instead of attack damage bonus

I'm not sure the DPS is exactly applied to this game as it's displayed but the relationship between DPS and Attack speed is quite different from what we usually know. In this game 'attack speed' doesn't mean the shots per second(fire rate) but refers to the time it takes to fire one shot.

For example, if your infantry has +50% attack speed boost the time takes to fire one shot becomes half(-50%). Therefore fire rated becomes twice and so the DPS. This mechanism perfectly explains why mortals with Mongolian coalition shoot so rapidly.

There are some councils with Heavy Infantry attack speed - Joan of Arc, Erik the Red, Hatshepsut, Miyamoto Musashi. You can also obtain attack speed with Li Vessels and munitions(Field kit and Explosive rounds).

Not sure how this is relevant for the infantry unit as Mongols only affect siege units. My infantry unit's standard dps is 4597. A 100% increase is double - I can't think of anything that would boost it 1100%.
Would be good to know exactly what boosts Funny had at the time of the screenshot.

Just arm all of your infantry attack speed bonus, you can find the amazing DPS.

The increase in DPS from attack speed is not linear in this game; the higher the attack speed, the faster the DPS grows with each additional point of attack speed.

Let me try. I don't know exact condition of Funny nor yours, so let me just explain how attack speed can increase DPS enormously.

When you have all the Heavy Infantry attack speed boost(except Mythical Artifact: Li vessel) equipped, you have +95% of attack speed.

- Joan of Arc(+13%), Erik the red(+13%), Hatshepsut(+14%), Miyamoto Musashi(+13%), Li vessel(+20%), Field kit(+11%), Explosive round(+6%) and Library research - chapter 5 of 'Fully Loaded Offense (+5%)

With 95% of attack speed, time takes per one shot become -95% reduced which means fire rate becomes 20 times compared to 0% attack speed boost. (100%-0%)/(100%-95%)=20.
Your Heavy Infantry's DPS can be +1900% increased only by attack speed. With damage boost, even more.

And change the council 33% To 31%, the DPS is AMAZING.
But the actually DPS(vs building) is about 3W.(test in challenge)
So there must something wrong.

Well, I guess DPS shown is not accurate. The limitation of Attack speed's value must exist in this game. If not, when attack speed approaches 100% fire rate and DPS become infinite which is impossible.
