The matchmaking is getting ridiculous again. it was good weeks ago, we have win rate of 62%, but we lost 8 wars of 10. Our players are getting discouraged and they stop playing in wars. Other people noticed a change in the matchmaking the last 2-3 weeks?
Our usual roster of 15 got changed a lot. Our top player went from place 2 to place 7 (robo 430). Something has changed…

Our last 4 wars have been just ridiculous.
Two wars ago the odds against us were 17:1. We lost that war 43-100... we've never lost a war by that large a margin in my 4 years with my alliance.
Currently we're only 8:1 underdogs...I guess that's a step in the right direction... but I've just stopped participating.
I hang with my Alliance for the friendships I've built over the years but I don't play the game anymore... it isn't fun.

@Harlems369th please ask the developers to check the matchmaking mechanism for World War. With the advent of the Robot age, something is definitely not being taken into account in the algorithm. Many have noticed this.
Our alliance has already been matched against 20 Robot age players("TeaStar" and "Alt F4 Exiles") in World War(20vs20) two times.
Meanwhile, we only have 11 Robot age players and without players of automation age.
This has never happened before.

Something is definitely wrong with the matching algorithm.. my alliance is in a war against an impossibly strong team where the glory numbers are 640/-67 ... this is the first time i've seen negative number in the denominator, meaning we would lose -67 glory points if we lost the match.. so does that mean we would gain 67? it's crazy and demoralizing!

Examining the matchmaking, it's still functioning as intended, but with the introduction of a new age, it alters the top end of matches. Those that dove RIGHT into many of the robo age upgrades will have a hard time matching until everyone else catches up, so this is where you'll see some of these 'mis-matches', much like your example @Nikolay.

Likely what happened in that example (20 robo v. 11 robo) the system couldn't match with someone close to the 20 robos, so the matchmaking widens to find the next best thing.

It might be like this at the outset of an Age release, but it will settle back to normal once everyone catches up.

Kinda confused on what you're asking here. When it shows in the WW Preview, the Green Number when you win is adding, but the red number, usually preceded by '-', means you would lose that glory for losing. Are you saying you're seeing a double negative, which would mean adding glory?

Exactly..due to the new age, should you not reduce the spread, even if this means longer searches….

Ps..thanks for the check! Appreciated
