Council Committee confusing

Hi - I understand the basics of the Council, but even after watching a couple of Youtube videos I still don't really understand how Committees work.

Anyone have a good video link that can explain Committees to a dummy like me?

- empty your council slots
- go to the committee screen and start filling it with councilors that you like and are fit for your role in WW (defence or offence)
- when you have filled 2+ councillors under the same committee, more bonuses are active.
- see and record the total stats when all 7 slots are filled
- now empty all the slots again and refill it using only your preferred councillors regardless of the committee bonuses.
- record the stats again and compare.
- use whatever suits you best

-alternatively, just upload all your purple/orange councillors here and we can work it out

I agree, the whole Council/Committee thing is confusing and oddin's response to this question isn't helpful either. :/
