At what age do you think that houses would become apartments or hotels? This game is in serious need of more citizens and commercial buildings for food and income. How about adding a grocery store or super markets for food. Casinos and night clubs. More civilian base buildings along with more roads. What make this game great is it’s part sims and part all out war! But the upgrading times are killing it. More citizens are needed so more things can be achieved in a great city builder game such as Dominations. What city only has 19 citizens living in it come on Nexon deliver us the goods! Or allow us to upgrade our houses for more citizens. My University has no students attending it because everything else needs to be upgraded. Thank God the museum crafting didn’t cost citizens or we would never see the end of it!

At the bare minimum give us a way to earn temporary workers to mine, clear trees, hunt, gather, open shipments, maybe even do short expeditions and short lessons in uni. All my walls are done, most of the buildings take more workers than they did at the beginning, ergo there's no reason to keep workers free. There's also not much reason to play for very long stretches at a time. This has been an issue with this game since at least industrial age, one would think that they could come up with some ideas about how to solve it after 3.5 years.

Here's a crazy idea that could kill two birds with one stone. Allow us to purchase these temporary workers with the resources from our overflowing mills and markets. Y'know, another long-running issue that never gets addressed? Call them---wait for it---day laborers. Meaning they last a day, and cost roughly 90% of the max gold or food storage of an age, which takes about a day of raiding to acquire depending on one's activity level.

You could even use these day laborers to chop times off of long term projects, as long as you kept them going by purchasing new ones or time them to run out when your regular workers free up. Acquiring 3-8 of these guys per day plus the cost of the upgrade itself would be no small feat for most players. And whittling a few days off of the multiple 2-week upgrades seems like a small concession to increase player engagement. Or even have them go into your inventory so you could stockpile them by the dozens through active play. I realize that's pretty fanciful thinking though, so even having these guys available for doing the things mentioned in the first paragraph would be better than nothing.

Even God can't give a hand on this one 😅😂
I need citizens too 😢 I never purchased starter pack, so I'm out of human resources.

How about an event that allows us to get temporary house/apartment/office so we can hire some workers? Please make it happen 🙏

I like the idea of upgrading houses to apartments (even for a ridiculous amount of resources) to give 1 or 2 extra citizens each.

Angel, that's genius!!
Some mechanism to invest in upgrading houses to apartment blocks, then apartment blocks to tall towers.
I'm in!! Who do we have to pay our crowns to, to make this happen???

The Devs should switch it to there being a new house unlocked at every age instead of every other age. Of course, upgrading currently owned houses would be nice too...

16 citizens with starter pack 1 & 2 and then you get another 3 citizens with a Mansion or whatever it's called.

keeping the number of workers low push the users to buy extra pack like the mansion or whatever it is called and use crowns for instant upgrade.

A way around would be to ask the user to choose the amount of workers you want to asssign to an updgrade: for example, 1 worker the upgrade takes 10 days, 2 workers 5 days, 3 2.5 days and so on.
This could be a good chance to set some workers free in case of need or put them to work in case you want to upgrade faster.

In any case I agree with you that 16 or 19 workers are not enough.
