Anniversary legendary - 40 USD!?

This post is to ask why the decision was made for an event that happens once a year to charge $40 for such a pass? In the past - a theme has always been to do like 1010 crowns or $10.10 dollars for such event pass. Basically this event pass should follow the theme of the anniversary a $11.11 USD deal for the legendary and the other goodies. If anything you guys used to give us a free legendary in the free track of the event and now it's in the premium track. This seems like a greedy move on the company continuing a theme for an event celebrating the creation of this game.

Because that's the system they have set up in the past sir? So why not continue how it's been in the past years for precedence.

It's all because of the war in Ukraine, or the Trump tariff wars, or the war in Iran - or any number of excuses people come up with - which have nothing to do with anything except basic corporate strategy. Get used to it.

its all about more money they want but if they think outside the box as we all know the cheaper the event is more people buy it like the $3.99 with a legendary card i bought it for all my accounts even like you say $40 it very high make it $10 every one buys it it does cost them anything its not physical stuff and the cheaper the more people buy and they get hooked on the game.

I think you missed Abhorsen's point about the pattern of anniversary event prices. And as another person rightly pointed out, if you made the price reasonable then just about everyone would purchase it, as opposed to those who can afford to pay $40USD to get an artifact.

I get the Point about the 11,11

But for me the bigger Point is : Why someone should buy an artifact with no usefull line? I would buy (for 1-5!euro) just to have it in the Collection …but why Not generate an nice Anniversary artifact with 2 nice offensive Lines and 2 nice defensiv Lines and 1 bullshit line like they have now 5 of them
