Hello,
I’m following up on an idea that was briefly discussed during the AMA a while back. At the time, several developers mentioned it was a great suggestion and a simple addition that wouldn’t require much coding effort, yet could have a huge impact on the community.
The idea is to allow each alliance to add a clickable Discord link directly in their alliance profile. This would let members (and potential recruits) easily join their alliance’s Discord server straight from within the game.
Why this matters:
• Community Growth: Makes it effortless for players to connect, coordinate, and build stronger bonds.
• Proven Success: This feature has already been implemented in Age of Empires with great results.
• Low Development Cost, High Value: A small quality-of-life change that could dramatically improve alliance communication and engagement.
This feels like a win-win for both players and developers: stronger communities mean more active, invested players. I’d love to see this feature prioritized for DomiNations.
Thanks for considering, and I’d be happy to expand on the idea if needed!
