Welcome Bob! The game (like all other games) has it's ups and downs. But, if you are patient, get into a good alliance, and are not concerned about staying in the top 50 worldwide...you'll have a blast!

Once all troops are trained, a notification stating "troops ready" would be wonderful! One of the most useful notifications I get from Clash of Clans. That alone keeps me engaged in the game. I think this notification would be very helpful :)
