I am having the same problem, iv bene playing for 6+ months, reached the end of the enlightenmentage and never had a problem and now i cant connect to the servers!

my gunpowder age design, maximised for symetric defence of all regions. once i get the 2 redboubts they will go next to the garrisons oon out outer wall to increase outer defence. has worked very well for me soo far!
