If you're having a lot of trouble with maxed walls, there are two easy things you can do -- use engineers or use more ranged troops (rifles/artillery). No base is immune to 5 stars if you know what you're doing.

All I know is that I very rarely crashed during battles before and today it's happened 7 times already. It would be nice if they tested releases before they actually sent out updates. Or, if they are testing, then the people giving the green light are incompetent hacks.

I disagree. Terra Cotta defense blows away Colosseum. You get a 15% boost to fort HP, which is huge -- means that you can't take out the fort with one zep/triplane bombing run.

5 stars is possible on any base, especially given enough attempts. If you don't believe that, you are in the wrong alliance. Just out of curiosity, what base design are you talking about? Could you post a screenshot?

Thanks Ambria - yes, Korea Army was the same one both times. Also, we faced Korea Pride 4 times (#15, 18, 20, and 23). For some reason they don't use all CAPS anymore. And yes, we had several no-shows during that 113-113 tie. Luckily, we beat them on the total destruction tiebreaker by 0.2%.
